In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac have modified their Seller Guides and provided temporary guidance on several policy areas to support mortgage originations, including limited powers of attorney, acceptance of remote online notarization and requirements for gap coverage. • Use of Remote Online Notarization (RON) on loans that include wet ink signed promissory Notes
  • Determination of states where GSEs accept RON
