It’s not every year that we have a title insurance champion working in the hallowed halls of the Capitol Building, and it’s not every day that we get to hear from such a powerhouse about what’s happening in Congress!

At this year’s virtual ALTA Advocacy Summit, you will have the chance to hear directly from title industry supporter Rep. Ed Perlmutter. He will be answering questions from his good friend and our fearless leader, ALTA President Bill Burding.

In the 117^th Congress, Perlmutter serves on four committees in the House of Representatives: Financial Services, where he is Chairman of the Consumer Protection and Financial Institutions Subcommittee; Science, Space and Technology; Rules and the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. At ALTA Advocacy Summit, he will be speaking about his current policy priorities, the agenda of the Financial Services Committee and his perspective on the important work of our industry, including the SECURE Notarization Act.
