U-Drive Experience

The U-Drive C2 vehicle is the latest craze in off-road tours! This extreme vehicle can accelerate up to 60 miles-per-hour, putting you in the ultimate driver’s seat. U-Drive C2 vehicles are double-seated, rear wheel drive off-road buggies. Fitted with a full roll cage and race harness, they have the power to weight ratio of a Porsche, coupled with the off road ability of a quad bike. That’s power!

Following a demonstration and instruction of the U-Drive C2 vehicle, guests will complete an ability and safety assessment. Then, it’s time to experience what is undoubtedly the fastest and most exiting off-road wonder!

River Float Tour – SOLD OUT!

Travel to the Lower Salt River, where soothing and tranquil waters await you. The scenic Class One river float tour provides a unique introduction to the history of the valley, the wonder of the Sonoran Desert and the flora and fauna that flourish there. Frank Lloyd Wright, recognized as the 20th century’s greatest architect, created Taliesin West “out of the desert”. Wright and his apprentices gathered rocks from the desert floor and sand from the washes to build this desert masterpiece. Taliesin West showcases Wright’s brilliant ability to integrate indoor and outdoor spaces.

Visit Wright’s private office, the Cabaret Cinema, Music Pavilion, Seminar Theater and Mr. and Mrs. Wright’s recently renovated personal living space with are all linked by dramatic terraces, gardens and walkways overlooking the rugged Sonoran Desert and Valley below. Knowledgeable guides explain how the architecture relates to the natural desert and provide an overview of Wright’s basic theories of design. In addition, guests will visit the dramatic Living Room and sit in Wright-designed furniture. Your guide will also provide an inspiring overview of Wright’s design theories, the history of the site, and Wright’s enduring legacy across the globe.

Hot Air Ballooning – SOLD OUT!

From the moment you lift off from our Sonoran Desert launch site until the ceremonial touch down, the sights and sounds of the landscape below will leave you breathless. Unfolding before your wide eyes will be 360-degree views, blue skies and picturesque mountains in the distance. As the balloon rises, you can expect to see jackrabbit, quail, roadrunner and coyote at home in their lush desert landscape. If lucky, you will spy deer, a family of javelin and perhaps other more exotic desert animals. You’ll enjoy the ride from the comfort of a handcrafted wicker basket in the company of an experienced pilot. All the while, the ground grew will be tracking your progress and will greet you with flutes of bubbly and a beautiful table laden with a sumptuous breakfast upon landing – a centuries old tradition.
