This new policy will allow as many attendees as possible the option to stay at the convention hotel at the group rate.

Hilton Cancellation Policy: To confirm a sleeping room within ALTA’s room block, the sleeping room must be secured with a valid credit card along with a first night’s deposit. This deposit is refundable up to 3 days in advance of your date of arrival. All credit cards used to prepay the room deposit will be charged immediately.
The closest airport to the Hilton is LaGuardia (8 miles or 30 minutes) followed by Newark International (15 miles or 45 minutes) and JFK (17 miles or 45 minutes). Alternatively, NYC is also easily accessible by train or bus too! The hotel sits 15 minutes from both Penn Station and Grand Central Station and 10 minutes from Port Authority.
On average a taxi from LaGuardia to the Hilton is $35.00 one way, Newark is $85.00 and JFK is $65.00. While La Guardia does not offer Subway access, Newark and JFK do have lines that go into Downtown NYC. As an alternative to taxis, NYC also offers UBER and Lyft. The hotel does not offer shuttle service to and from any of the airports.
