Cheryl Cowherd is National Agency and Central States Senior Underwriting Counsel for WFG National Title Insurance Company. She has been in the title insurance industry for over 30 years with extensive experience in many aspects of the business including underwriting, search, examination and residential and commercial escrow. She has worked as a title agent as well as for multiple underwriters.

She is a member of the American Land Title Association and is the Chair of the Title Counsel Committee and Vice-Chair of the Education Committee. Cheryl is a member of the Missouri Land Title Association and is the current President. She is also a member of the Kansas and Nebraska Land Title Association and a member of the Missouri Bar Association.

Cheryl has taught numerous continuing education seminars and webinars. These classes have been approved for continuing education credit in several states.

Cheryl is a National Title Professional as well as a Missouri Title Professional and a Kansas Title Professional and was the 2016 Missouri Land Title Association Title Person of the Year.

Cheryl graduated from William Jewell College with dual bachelor’s degrees and received her JD from St. Louis University School of Law.
