Tami Diehm is a shareholder and the president of Winthrop & Weinstine, a Minneapolis-based law firm with more than 175 attorneys. As firm president, Tami oversees all aspects of firm management and operations. As a practicing attorney for more than 20 years, Tami advises a wide range of public and private clients on complex real estate and land use matters. Leveraging her past experiences in local government, she brings a unique perspective on land use and zoning to the practice of law. Tami previously spent 12 years of service as an elected city council member in Columbia Heights, Minnesota and 7 years of service as a city attorney for a suburb of Minneapolis. Tami has been ranked “Band 1: Real Estate: Zoning/Land Use” by Chambers USA and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® in the fields of Municipal Law (2010-2025), Land Use and Zoning Law (2013-2025), Real Estate Law (2018-2025), and Eminent Domain and Condemnation Law (2020-2025). Tami is also a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and Fellows of the American Bar Foundation.
