Kate Fletcher joined Stewart Title in 2017 and currently serves as Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel with Stewart Title’s UCC One division. In this role, Kate provides legal guidance and underwriting support for complex commercial transactions, including mezzanine financing and entity transfers. Kate also serves as Connecticut State Counsel and Associate Senior Underwriting Counsel with Stewart Title’s Agency Services division, where she underwrites single-site and multisite deals, construction projects, affordable housing and tax credit deals, government financing, and ground lease transactions. Prior to joining Stewart, Kate spent more than 15 years in private practice, focusing on national and international financing, acquisition, and development across diverse collateral types. Her experience includes representing both institutional and private lenders, as well as borrowers, in capital markets financing, mezzanine financing, multijurisdictional transactions, and mixed-collateral loans.
