A 35-year title industry veteran, ALTA Board Governor Lisa Steele is the COO for Mother Lode Holding Company. Mother Lode has operations in 9 states and 2 divisions that handle transactions nationwide. Currently Chair of the ALTA Finance Committee, Steele has served on more than a dozen ALTA committees. She is passionate about being a strong advocate for the land title industry.

Steele understands the importance of building a workplace that people enjoy, where they feel safe and appreciated and where they care for one another and their customers. She is a dynamic leader known for her commitment for fostering growth, collaboration and excellence within the title and settlement industry. She is deeply dedicated to supporting and uplifting women in the industry, providing mentorship and guidance to help them navigate leadership roles and advance their careers. Her influence extends beyond her company, as she continuously works to inspire and support the next generation of female leaders.

She also serves as CEO of the Taylor Steele Cancer Foundation, where she is proud to honor her late daughter, Taylor, by providing financial support to many cancer patients and organizations.
