Megan Powell is the Director of Underwriting for the Direct Division at First American Title Insurance Company. She has over 25 years of experience in the title insurance industry, which includes various roles in title, escrow, claims and underwriting. She has worked for both agents and underwriters.

Megan serves as Chair of the American Land Title Association Native American Lands Workgroup and Corporate Underwriting Sponsor of the First American Title Insurance Company Native American Lands Practice Group. She is a past President of the Washington Land Title Association as well as Chair of the Washington Land Title Association Native American Lands Committee.

Megan also provides underwriting support to National Tribal Title Services, a specialized department within First American Title Insurance Company that focuses on providing title insurance to Native American tribes, tribal entities and tribal members.
