Neil S. Cohen is the President and Managing Attorney of Barsh and Cohen, P.C., a full-service real estate law firm and title company based in Massachusetts. With more than 23 years of experience, Neil leads a team that specializes in residential and commercial closings, foreclosures, creditor bankruptcy, and recovery services. The firm also operates a national title platform offering non-insurance informational title reports and insured legal and vesting reports to support home equity transactions.

Since joining Barsh and Cohen in 2002, Neil has been instrumental in growing the firm’s reputation as a trusted legal partner to banks, credit unions, and lending institutions across the country. His deep knowledge of real estate law and his innovative approach to title services have positioned the firm as a key resource for transactional support.

Neil holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from Rollins College, where he played collegiate soccer and a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School. He currently serves as a Board Member on the Advisory Council of Needham Bank and is a member of the Board of Directors for Haymakers for Hope. He also proudly participated in Haymakers for Hope: Rock ‘N Rumble X, a competitive charity boxing event supporting cancer research and care where he raised over $135,000 for cancer research.

Outside of work, Neil enjoys spending time with his wife Lainie of 25 years and their three children. His hobbies include playing golf, attending concerts, and participating in men’s league hockey.
