As Director of Underwriting – Fraud Risk, Sarah Frano is deeply committed to advancing fraud detection and prevention across the organization. She is the co-host of the First on Fraud™ video podcast and serves as the corporate sponsor of First American’s Fraud Prevention Practice Group. Sarah also contributes her expertise as a member of the Litigation Committee for the California Land Title Association and serves on multiple fraud prevention committees for the American Land Title Association. A seasoned veteran of the title insurance industry, Sarah brings extensive legal and underwriting experience to her role. Prior to joining Corporate Underwriting in 2018, she served for ten years as Southwest Regional Claims Manager in Scottsdale, Arizona. Before joining First American in 2009, Sarah spent six years in private practice in California and Arizona. Sarah holds a Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Evansville.
